BOOKING CONDITIONS — POURVOIRIE MOKO

RESERVATION POLICY

Reservations are made online, with real-time availability. A deposit of 25% of the total amount is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation; it is payable by credit card or Interac.

Our chalets are rented per chalet (not per person), with a minimum of 4 people billed per chalet (6 people for the Lesage chalet). Each additional person is charged $95 per day. A minimum stay of 3 nights applies during the fishing season.

The balance, including fuel consumed and bait, is payable upon departure, by Interac e-transfer only.

Check-in is from 1:00 p.m. and check-out is no later than 11:00 a.m. All occupants must register upon arrival.

Access rights to the La Vérendrye wildlife reserve and the (mandatory) fishing licence are not included in the rate; they can be obtained online, through the links available on our website, before arrival.

A pavilion (common room with kitchen) is offered free of charge to groups of 10 people or more who have booked a minimum of 2 chalets. It cannot be booked alone; contact us to enjoy it.

STAY RULES

Responsible person — the person who made the reservation is responsible for their group and for any damage caused during the stay.

Maximum occupancy — the number of occupants must never exceed the number booked and paid for; no undeclared visitors are allowed.

Non-smoking — smoking inside the chalets is strictly prohibited.

Pets — pets are not allowed.

Cleanliness — the chalet must be returned to its original condition upon departure (dishes washed, chalet tidied).

Breakage and damage — the client is responsible for any breakage or damage to the chalet, furniture, equipment, as well as to any rented watercraft or equipment (boat, pontoon, motor, etc.). Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the client and must be paid before departure.

Boating safety — wearing a life jacket is mandatory. Anyone operating a motorized watercraft must hold a Pleasure Craft Operator Card, in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.

Fishing regulations — each client is responsible for complying with the wildlife reserve's regulations (catch limits, registering catches at the welcome station). Live minnows are not permitted; only worms and leeches are allowed as bait.

Liability — swimming, boating and all activities are undertaken at the client's own risk. The outfitter is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or the loss or theft of personal belongings.

Weather conditions — no refund or price change is granted in the event of bad weather.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellation request must be sent in writing (email) or by telephone, as soon as possible.

Cancellation more than 60 days before the arrival date: the deposit is converted into a transferable credit, valid for 12 months, applicable to a future reservation.

Cancellation 60 days or less before the arrival date: the deposit is non-refundable.

In the event of a no-show or early departure, no refund or credit is granted.
